Despite the huge strides made in race relations, unfortunately there is still a lot of residual prejudice all over the U.S. So if you want to consider dating outside of your own race or ethnic group, you should think long and hard about the ramifications of interracial dating. It's kind of hard to believe, but even the adult dating scene can be plagued by small-minded friends and bigoted relatives who simply can't understand why you want to date outside of your race. Hopefully, attitudes will change, and interracial dating will no longer be seen as an anomaly, but just as one more kind of dating. But for now, be careful in your adult dating.
